Duties of the Position: Maintain film lab to include: keeping the Film Editing Lab clean, maintaining lab printer and supplies, service lab computers by taking old work files off and cleaning computers every semester; assisting students with computer or film editing software questions, assist students with any film production equipment training and assistance; work with instructors/professors to set up and operate audio-visual film equipment in classrooms or for special projects as needed; help in covering the Film Office when needed; answer phones, greet visitors, and general office duties as needed.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: Technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment and film editing software, general knowledge on film production equipment policies and procedures, and friendly and professional attitude. Upper classmen Film Studies majors or majors in a related area preferred.
