Duties of the Position: Checks library materials in and out using the online circulation system. Collects fines on overdue materials. Answers phones and provides general information about the MLIC. Greets patrons entering the library and enforces access policy requiring checking of proper identification. Checks for any abuse of the food and drink policies. Collects membership forms from library associates. This may involve collecting money and using the cash register. Troubleshoots all photocopiers and printers, changing toners, and providing paper.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: Good customer service skills and computer skills.
