Duties of the Position: Serve as academic tutors for deaf students at Schools for the Deaf located in various regions of the US. Tutoring services will be provided through videoconferencing in computer lab. Tutors will use blackboard to prepare instructional lessons for students to whom they are assigned. Tutors will track and log student's progress.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: Completion of ASL IV and successful completion of Practicum I. Prefer: Familiarization with videoconferencing equipment, internet applications, and the instructional needs of deaf students in middle school and high school level courses.
