Duties of the Position: Checks library materials in and out using the online circulation system; collect fines on overdue materials; answers phone and provides general information about the MLIC; greet patrons entering the library and enforce access policy requiring the checking of proper identification; check for any abuse of the food and drink policies; collect membership forms from library associates (this may involve collection of money and using a cash register); troubleshoot all photocopiers and printers; changing toners and providing paper.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: Good customer service skills; good computer skills
