Receptionist/Hospitality Aid
Number of Students Requested to Fill the Above Position: 2-10
Duties of the Position: Greeting the clients we serve; checking the clients in for their interviews; answer the telephones (which includes telephone inquiries and questions); some data input and record keeping; filing of documents and reports; assist with clients in others ways as needed. Needs are in the Padre Pio Assistance Unit, the Education Program, and possibly the main reception area. Depending on the area, other duties specific to that program would be included.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: Pleasant attitude; able to use a multi-line telephone (will train if needed); computer basics (data input, Word, Excel); Spanish language skills a plus but not required; ability to follow direction yet be creative and open about responsibilities; the ability to show compassion and dignity to those who are less fortunate or who may be suffering because of needs in their lives.
Recommended Student Classification Level: IV
Beginning and Ending Dates of the Position: August 22, 2011 - May 4, 2012
Hours Per week: Monday through Friday 9 am - 2:30 pm; Monday through Thursday evenings 5:45 pm-8:15 pm, the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:45 am - 12:00 (possibly 1:00 pm).
