Gallery Assistant

Number of students requested to fill above position: 2

Duties of the Position: This position works directly with the Gallery Director to help install and strike exhibits, watch gallery Thursday 5-8 pm and Saturday 1-4 pm and do light clerical work while watching gallery.  Fills and paints walls and gallery stands in preparation for the next exhibit.

Skills Required to Perform the Position: A self-motivated attitude, good communication skills, a creative spirit, and appreciation for contemporary art, and a taste for quality.

Recommended Student Classification Level: IV

Beginning and Ending Dates of the Position: Throughout school year

Hours Per Week: 15-20
