Video Production Assistant

Duties of the Position: Position focuses on producing the 30 minute television segment "The Living Arts Show" to be shown once a week on Cox Cable.  The applicant will work with the director in arranging content, editing the show, and sometimes producing a short introduction.  The show is produced digitally on a Casablanca A/V editing console.  Responsibilities often include filming gallery exhibits or events for inclusion into the show in addition to editing and mastering the show.

Skills Required to Perform the Position: A self-motivated attitude, willingness and aptitude to debug A/V equipment, good communication skills, a creative spirit, and appreciation for contemporary art, and a taste for quality.

Recommended Student Classification Level: IV
