As the Senior Associate Dean of Admission, I work with prospective students from the Oklahoma School of Science & Mathematics in Oklahoma City, Holland Hall and Town & Country School in Tulsa, and transfer students with last initials of A – F. I also work with high school students who are interested in Concurrent Enrollment at The University of Tulsa.
The beauty of TU’s campus is first to meet the eye, but ultimately, my students love the rich array of choices they have at TU, the mentoring faculty and the warmth and diversity of the student body. It has been a joy to see my students perform in music ensembles while studying engineering, pursue majors or minors in fields that were unknown to them in high school, study abroad in faraway places, found vibrant student organizations, and contribute to cutting edge research. TU blends a robust intellectual atmosphere with the “real world” for an education that has real and enduring value.
My professional career began as a secondary teacher, but I have a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and over 31 years of college admission experience, with the last 25 spent at The University of Tulsa. I am a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), have served the Great Plains Association for College Admission Counseling (GPACAC) as President and frequent conference presenter, and have served on numerous University committees. At the end of the day, my love is helping students realize their college dreams, and I look forward to giving each student my personal attention throughout the admission process.
