My name is Carly, and I’m from Tahlequah, Okla. I’m a senior at the University of Tulsa studying Political Science. This summer, I’m interning in Miami, Ariz., with Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold. FCX is a mining company committed to community development locally and internationally, something I’m hoping to focus on after graduation. Currently I’m working in the Global Supply Chain where I take part in purchasing, distribution, inventory, bid walks, and everything to do with contracts. Cyber Corps Program

Have you heard of TU’s Cyber Corps program? If you haven’t, and you are interested in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, applied physics, engineering physics or mathematics, you should definitely check it out. Students apply to the TU Cyber Corps program during their undergraduate work, or as a graduate program. TU Cyber Corps students do all kinds of top-secret, MacGyver-like things, like extracting information from cell phones and computers in high-profile criminal investigations and programming public officials’ cell phones. I can’t tell you specific examples, because the students aren’t allowed to talk about most of it! Students from all over the country come to TU specifically for our Cyber Corps program.
