Homecoming and Halloween collide this year and the result will be so much fun-it's scary! Come home to TU to reconnect with old friends and celebrate your alma mater at Homecoming 2009.
Kick off your weekend on Friday night with the annual Pep Rally and Bonfire on the U. Enjoy this TU tradition as we honor Mr. Homecoming 2009, Dennis Hudson ('79), the 2009 Jess Chouteau Outstanding Seniors, and as we light up the sky with a fantastic fireworks show of blue and gold.
NOTE: The time of the Pep Rally and bonfire has changed to 6:00 p.m., originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
After the fireworks, gather a group of friends for TU on Tap, where you can catch up into the wee hours. Black alumni and former lettermen will be welcomed back for exciting reunion activities throughout the weekend, and the Class of 1959 will mark their 50th year reunion and be inducted in the Fifty Years or More Club.
Saturday, October 31, will bring the big game and big fun with tailgating on Chapman Commons, complete with trick-or-treating for kids, food and music. At 1:00 p.m., the Golden Hurricane will take on the SMU Mustangs in beautiful H.A. Chapman Stadium!
