Your TU Alumni Association will be there to celebrate as Golden Hurricane football comes off a school-record 11 win season. We hope you will stock up on TU BLUE and join us for the festivities! The Rock You Like a Hurricane Tour continues into 2009 with three away parties, while the new and improved home tent parties will be your official TU Tavern on the Green.

Join TU on the Road for three fan parties in New Orleans, Norman and Houston.
The Alumni Association and Golden Hurricane Club have again partnered to host three fan parties this season as the football team travels to play Tulane, Oklahoma and Rice. Advanced registration is required. Visit TUAlumni.com for more details and to register.
• Friday, September 4 – Spears Travel is the official travel partner to New Orleans, but be sure to book today to reserve your space. If you live in the area or already have travel arrangements we hope you will join us at the official fan party at the House of Blues. We promise the local cuisine will be delicious!
• Saturday, September 19 – Let TU do the driving to Norman or simply join us under the tent for great Oklahoma barbeque. The official fan party co-hosted by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Alumni Association begins at 11:30 a.m.
• Saturday, October 3 – While there is no official TU travel to Houston, we hope you will join the Houston Alumni Chapter and Golden Hurricane Club in Houston for the official fan partyon the Rice campus starting at 4:30 p.m.

Your official Alumni Association home parties on Chapman Commons
2009 Alumni Association home tent parties will take on a new feel and we think you will enjoy the fun of TU Tavern on the Green! The events are free with your membership to the Alumni Association, which is free to all graduates of TU.
Join us in the center of Chapman Commons under the tent, which may be smaller but will be an entertaining party. Under the tent, beer and water will be available for purchase and hot dogs will be provided while they last. You are also invited to bring your own refreshments and food to the TU Tavern on the Green, but most importantly bring your friends! Outside the tent you’ll be invited to play popular lawn games and enjoy the festivities of Chapman Commons. As always, there will be a band entertaining the crowd and inflatables for the kids.
Note that the October 31 Official Homecoming Tent Party will include a full barbeque meal and will be only $10 per person.
