Advanced Placement Summer Institute
Summer 2013 Workshops
The College Board and the Oklahoma State Department of Education will sponsor the 17th Annual Tulsa AP* and Pre-AP* Summer Institute at the University of Tulsa to:
-
assist school teachers in further development of existing programs
-
enhance their teaching techniques
-
establish new AP and Pre-AP classes
The University of Tulsa hosts three week-long sessions of AP workshops, with different workshops offered each week. Each workshop lasts from Monday to Thursday of that week.
Workshop tuition includes instruction, materials, a light breakfast, refreshments, daily lunch and a special lunch reception. It also includes double occupancy accommodations at a luxury hotel for participants who live more than 40 miles from Tulsa. The Oklahoma State Department of Education offers state funding for Certified Oklahoma Public School teachers.
