Workshops are offered to assist teachers in developing programs, enhancing teaching techniques and establishing new classes.

The University of Tulsa, The College Board, and the Oklahoma State Department of Education will sponsor the 2012 Tulsa AP* and Pre-AP* Summer Institute to:

  • assist school teachers in further development of existing programs
  • enhance their teaching techniques
  • establish new AP and Pre-AP classes

The one week four day workshops are offered on the University of Tulsa campus. The tuition includes instruction and materials, light breakfast, break refreshments, lunch and a reception.  It also includes double occupancy accommodations at a luxury hotel to participants who live more than 40 miles from Tulsa.   The Oklahoma State Department of Education offers state funding for Certified Oklahoma Public School teachers.
