Golden Hurricane athletics is an integral part of the TU experience. Our teams have a rich history in sports including football, men’s basketball and women's golf, while creating a new tradition a variety of other sports.
As a member of Conference USA, TU competes in 18 intercollegiate sports, including eight men's and ten women's teams. Since joining C-USA, Golden Hurricane teams have earned more conference championships than any other conference foe. Our Golden Hurricane teams have distinguished themselves with their on-the-field performance and their academic prowess in the classroom.
TU athletes are also winners in the classroom. The graduation rate of TU student-athletes ranks in the top one-third of all schools that compete in NCAA Division I athletics.
