Usage Policies
Athletic Programs - Men's and Women's athletic programs and related practice needs must come first due to conference
scheduling constraints.
Educational/Cultural Events - Events that enrich the lives of members of the university community have second
priority. These events will be sponsored or co-sponsored by the various departments and divisions of The University of Tulsa. Events that
fall into this category include: commencement, convocations, concerts, national and international speakers, and other university-wide
related activities.
Academic Classes - The needs of academic departments have third priority.
Recreation - General use for student recreation, such as for intramural and recreation playoff situations, may be
considered on a limited basis in areas that do not affect other higher priority programming.
Outside Leasing - The Reynolds Center is viewed as a facility for campus related use, as opposed to a commercial or
money-making facility. Consequently, leasing to non-profit organizations will have priority over for-profit entities. Those open to
attendance by the university community will take precedence over those closed to the university community.
Event Policies
Alcohol Policy - The University of Tulsa observes all state laws and regulations governing the sale, purchase, and
serving of alcoholic beverages by all members of its community and expects that these laws will adhere to all events associated with The
University of Tulsa. When approved in advance by the Vice President for Business and Finance, alcohol may be served at a limited number of
University sponsored special events. Alcohol will never be served or sold at any athletic event.

to aid patrons with disabilities.

he or she will contact the event supervisor who will deal with the situation in an appropriate manner. Individuals who have been ejected
from the facility must vacate Reynolds Center property or be subject to arrest on trespassing charges.
Firearms/Weapons - No persons are permitted to bring weapons of any kind into the Reynolds Center with the exception
of local, state, and federal law enforcement officials. The University of Tulsa, as a private institution, in conjunction with Title 21
