Track and field triggers qualifying times

The University of Tulsa's Track and Field competed in the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind. at the University of Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 6, setting three qualifying times.
Senior Alex Becker finished the 3,000 meters with a NCAA qualifying time of 9:15:10. Coming in second overall, Becker holds the 10th best time for the mile run.
Justin Duncan holds the second fastest time in TU history. The junior finished with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of
4:00:89, also finishing second overall.
In the 400 meters, Jennifer Mace came in third. The junior from Owasso ran a 53.79 at the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 22.
The next meet for track and field will be in Fayetteville Arkansas, Feb. 12-13 at the Tyson Invitational.
