Dining Dollars
Dining dollars are good at Twin Towers Dining Hall, ACAC Eateries, Starbucks at the Collins Fitness Center, and all campus wide snack/beverage vending machines.
Hurricane Gold Account
Hurricane Gold is a prepaid account that allows you to purchase meals or snacks with your TU ID at the Twin Towers Dining Hall, Allen Chapman Activity Center Food Court, Bonici Brothers or the Hurricane Hut. Hurricane Gold gives students the opportunity to purchase a lower cost meal plan and still make purchases at other dining centers. Hurricane Gold can be used any time a facility is open.
Simply set an amount (minimum of $25.00) and pay in either the ID/Parking Center in Twin Towers or the Business Office located in McClure Hall. Also, cash deposits are accepted at the three automated terminals on campus. For your convenience, these machines are located in McFarlin Library, John Rogers Hall, and Allen Chapman Activity Center . Purchases will be deducted from this amount as they are made upon the presentation of your ID card.
When you reach your Gold limit, prepay again. If you have money in your "Hurricane Gold" account at the end of the academic term, it will be carried over into the upcoming academic term balance. You may request a refund of any balance remaining in your account at academic year end if you prefer as opposed to a Dining Only Gold account in which the balance is forfeited at the semester's end.
