Join us as we listen to stories about life in Mexico, past and present. Learn about the foods, animals, different cultures from Mexico's past, and favorite things children like to do in Mexico. Story time will be in the Maya Ruins - Kids Site, showing a time in Mexico's history. Afterwards, participants will create works of art based on the stories they have just heard. Free with museum admission.

Come experience the Wild West in Gilcrease Museum's galleries. Learn about the different people living in the west, how they got there and what the Wild West was all about. Afterwards, participants will create an art object that relates to what they just studied in the galleries. Free with museum admission.

Drawing is the basis for creating all art. It is the starting point for expressing thoughts and ideas and making them visually concrete. Teaching artists guide participants using various drawing techniques, and different drawing tools and materials. For adults and children age 8 and up in each skill level.
