Rental Cost

The rental fees for use of chapel facilities are determined by the couple’s affiliation with the university. Affiliated members include students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, retirees and their immediate family members (father, mother, sister, brother, grandparents, children). Checks for rental fees should be made payable to The University of Tulsa. Please include the bride's name and the date of the wedding on the check.

What's Included

The rental fees include both the wedding and the rehearsal time. Organists and/or other musicians are paid directly by the bride and groom. Honoraria for clergy are left to the discretion of the couple and minister performing the wedding. While honoraria are not fees, they should generally be budgeted in with other wedding expenses. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due at the time the facility is scheduled; complete payment of fees is due one month prior to the wedding.

There is no private space provided for the groom and groomsmen to dress. The bridal party may use the public ladies room at no additional charge. The ladies room on the first floor is equipped with a large mirror for dressing and make-up.

*A student who is married within the year of his/her graduation will be charged the current student fee.

**The first floor Ladies room is available as a dressing area at no additional charge. The Canterbury Suite is a large room on the second floor with a long, interior glass wall that is secured with existing mini-blinds. The second floor rest rooms can be used in conjunction with the Canterbury Suite.
