Title of Student Position:       Work Study Assistant for Football Recruiting and Assistant to all Football Coaches

Duties of the Position:   To assist all Football Coaches-but mostly in the Recruiting Department with Jess Loepp, Recruiting Coordinator, and assisting our Director of Football Operations, Brent Graham.  They will also help in copying, mail-merge letters, stuffing envelopes, running errands for coaches, typing, making labels, updating recruiting systems, answering phones. 

Skills Required to Perform the Position:   Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and a keen ability to get along with people.

Duties of the Position:   Tutor in a selected subject area, monitor the flow of incoming/outgoing study center users, enter data on forms, logs and the student-athlete database, prepare reports as directed/requested by members of the department, track inventory of office supplies and maintain/clean computers and printers, assist students with computer applications, schedule and arrange for set-up for study spaces/rooms, maintain and update the student services web page.

Skills Required to Perform the Position:   Microsoft Office capability, tutoring, excellent interpersonal skills required, small amount of light lifting required.

Skills Required to Perform the Position:  Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.  Customer service experience is required as well as responsibility in money management.

Duties of the Position:   Phone contact for Men's Basketball.  Provides general information to public, interact with public, recruits, alumni, and supporters with regard to the program.  Computer data entry, create and maintain certain files, assist with mail outs.  Complete deliveries on campus when requested.  Should maintain a conscientious and dependable schedule.  Frequently apply own creativity and procedures with supervision using good judgment to tasks at hand.  Exhibits willingness to assist with other tasks as needed.

Skills Required to Perform the Position:  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word and Excel software).  Should possess a working knowledge of basic office equipment such as copier and fax.  Exhibit a positive, outgoing and friendly attitude.  Basic knowledge of NCAA rules.

Duties of the Position:   Students will be responsible for shooting football practices and assisting the video coordinator with editing duties.

Skills Required to Perform the Position:  The ability to listen and learn.  Basic knowledge of football is helpful, but definitely not necessary.  I will teach you the following:  videography skills, shutter adjustment, white balancing, filter usage, proper angle adjustment, tripod adjustment, backlight, gain adjustment. 

 

Editing skills:  Use of Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, DSV Football Pro, DSV Mobile Editing, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel.

Title of Student Position:      Athletic Marketing Office Assistant

Duties of the Position:   The Golden Hurricane Athletic Marketing Department seeks fun, energetic and hardworking individuals to join our staff.  Duties include some clerical work along with distributing promotional materials on and off-campus.  Students will assist in the execution of all marketing plans for TU sports as well as perform assigned duties at any special events or held by the TU Athletic Marketing Office.  Marketing assistants will assist in the arrangements of groups and may oversee certain projects within the Athletic Marketing Office.  Marketing Assistant will be required to work TU sporting events as assigned.  Duties are not limited to promoting Golden Hurricane athletics, event planning, game day management and general office tasks.

Skills Required to Perform the Position:  Must have strong organizational skills, committed to working some weekends and evenings and must be dependable.  Some background in working in collegiate athletics is required.  This position requires the individual to report to work and complete duties in a timely and sufficient manner, while having minimal supervision.  The individual(s) must be detail oriented and committed to executing all duties consistent with the job description.
