CGE Pioneer Scholarship
To encourage students to explore new regions of the world, the CGE awards Pioneer Scholarships in the amount of $750 (for one semester OR one academic year) or $500 (for a summer program) to students accepted to study abroad on an approved TU study abroad program location not previously attended by a TU student. Upon their return, students are expected to assist the CGE in promoting programs abroad in diverse countries around the world, by participating in the Pioneer Program.
The Pioneer Program requires students to submit photos and a written evaluation of their program abroad as well as to participate in at least 2 events promoting study abroad.
To apply, students should submit a one-page essay answering these questions:
1) How did you choose your study abroad destination?
2) What is your plan to promote study abroad and your destination upon your return? (Give us specific examples).
Students should then upload the essay as a Word document to the CGE online application, under “Additional Documents”, before the study abroad application deadline.
TU Exchange Ambassador Scholarship
Description: Scholarships are automatically awarded to students who are accepted to study abroad at one of TU’s Exchange Partner Universities. Awards will be in the amount of $1000 (for one semester OR one academic year). TU Exchange Ambassadors are expected to promote TU at their host university while abroad as well as promote opportunities to study at the host university after their return to TU. No separate application is necessary.
