Re-entry back to the States can be hard enough, but how should you deal with re-entry back to TU?
Students returning from international experiences often go through a difficult period of readjusting to their own home country known as “reverse culture shock”
To be globally aware means to be uncomfortable as you try to bring together, simultaneously, more than one culture. Often, you will return from abroad and not find the same home that you left behind; instead, you will view the campus, your friends, your parents and your studies differently.
The challenge as a Returnee becomes finding the best way to continue your international learning in productive and rewarding ways which ultimately helps integrate your international experiences into your everyday life and academic studies.
The CGE and TU are here to help you enjoy and experience numerous opportunities to incorporate their global studies and experiences into your TU campus social life and academic work.

In a world that is continuously getting smaller, it is necessary to be kept abreast of the issues arising internationally as well as those issues arising just within our country’s borders. The Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law is the perfect tool to use to keep up with this constantly shrinking and changing world. In this day and age, it is becoming almost as critical to possess the knowledge about what is happening in the international legal field, as it is to know about what occurs in the national legal field. Providing people with that international knowledge is the primary purpose of the Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law.
The Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law, with its inaugural issue published in fall 1993, is the newest journal at the University of Tulsa College of Law. The Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law is published bi-annually, and is edited and staffed by students at University of Tulsa College of Law.

Global business education is a central point in the vision of the TU College of Business Administration. The international business and language major was developed in conjunction with the TU Department of Languages as a part of this vision. It provides an exciting educational and career opportunity for those students who enjoy the study of language.
This degree combines three components: (1) education in foundations of business and functional areas of international business, (2) development of greater familiarity with cultural imperatives, and (3) advanced training in French, German, Spanish, or Russian.

The Office of International Student Services provides a full range of services and support to international students.

The certificate program in international studies meets the needs of students with personal, academic, and career interests in other cultures; in other political and economic systems; and in the institutions and practices of international relations. The program should be of special interest to students who plan a period of study abroad and serves as an excellent preparation for advanced study.

International experiences include the use of technology in nursing compared between USA and another country and examination of relevant people's contributions to the promotion and adaptation of technology. This course was offered for the first time in Spring 1998. During Spring Break 2002, the class went to Paris, visiting several nursing and cultural sites.

The ISM hosts a Thursday Noon Lunch the first and third week of each month, even through spring break and the summer. They also have many activities, like picnics, float trips, retreats, and holiday parties. The ministry team is made up of any students who have a heart to reach international students for Christ. All of the activities and studies are open to the whole campus. The international student council is very similar to Wesley¹s council in that they plan activities for the international students and try to reach out to students on campus.
