It depends on whether you are a full- or part-time student, and whether you are seeking a Master's degree or a Ph.D.

What is the procedure for processing my application and how long does it take?

All application materials should be sent to the Graduate School. After we receive your application and associated materials, we will send you a postcard which lists application materials the Graduate School is still missing, or informs you that your application is complete. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive all missing materials.

For application requirements for U.S. citizens and permanent residents, click here.

For application requirements for International students, click here.

It normally takes approximately two weeks to process an application for a U.S. citizen. Applications for international students can require up to two months to process, and international applicants should submit completed applications as soon as possible to ensure that the required immigration paperwork can be processed in a timely manner, if you are accepted.
