TRACK THREE--JOINT PROGRAM IN HISTORY AND EDUCATION

Students in this track take 18 credit hours in history and 18 credit hours in education.  Like other tracks in history, students choose an area of specialization.

            Ancient World and Europe to 1700

            Europe Since 1700

            United States

            Asia, Russia, and Latin America

            Comparative History: thematic field defined by adviser and approved by graduate committee 

Requirements 

Hist 7003  The Nature of History 

15 semester hours in a major field of concentration.  These courses will include one research seminar.
