
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR
APPLYING ELECTRONICALLY

U. S. CITIZENS AND PERMANENT RESIDENTS
Degree Seeking StudentsPlease read the following information about applying electronically before proceeding with the electronic application.
This application must be completed in its entirety before electronic submission, including the written statement regarding your academic and career goals. Your application will not be considered complete until all the following items have been received: three letters of recommendation, official transcripts, and relevant test scores. Please send these items by US. Mail to: The University of Tulsa Graduate School, 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104. Your application must be complete before it will be processed.
TRANSCRIPTS. Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/or universities are required. Please note: It is the responsibility of all students who attended the University of Tulsa to contact the Registrar's Office and request that an official copy of their TU transcript be sent to the Graduate School. There is no charge for this service.
TEST SCORES. Scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service.
LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. Three letters of recommendation are required for admission. Please have the recommenders submit a recommendation on their official letterhead. Recommendations should be sent directly to the Graduate School.
APPLICATION FEE. Applicants are required to submit a nonrefundable $40 application fee, unless the applicant has graduated from The University of Tulsa or is a participant in the McNair Scholars Program. The application fee may be paid by check, or by credit card. You can pay your application fee using a credit card by calling the TU Business Office at (918) 631-2208, or 631-2600 with your credit card information.
You can also use the University's secure online payment system at: https://secureweb.utulsa.edu/boffice/payment.pl. When using the online payment form, check the Application Fee box in the "Apply payment to" section.
Non-degree Seeking StudentsStudents who have completed a bachelors degree may apply for admission to the Graduate School as Special non-degree seeking students, for general course work or transfer credit. Special students are required to meet the regular admission standards applicable to the program in which they wish to pursue work. Although they must submit a final degree transcript from the institution where they received their last degree, they are not required to submit three letters of recommendation or official test scores (except for GMAT scores for those students seeking non-degree status in the College of Business Administration) at time of application as a non-degree seeking student. If they subsequently apply to a degree program all application requirements outlined above for degree-seeking students will be required.
