Please read the following information about applying electronically before proceeding with the electronic application.

This application must be completed in its entirety before electronic submission, including the written statement regarding your academic and career goals. Your application will not be considered complete until all the following items have been received: three letters of recommendation, official transcripts, official test scores, the Confirmation of Financial Resources, a signed Signature Card, and the $40 application fee. Please send these items by US. Mail to: The University of Tulsa Graduate School, 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104. Your application must be complete before it will be processed.

TRANSCRIPTS AND DIPLOMA. Official transcripts and diplomas of all previous university study together with a certified English translation which clearly shows the applicant's class rank and an explanation of the grading system. Applicants must have graduated First Class to be considered for admission.

TEST SCORES. Applicants to graduate programs in business must submit satisfactory scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Applicants to all other graduate programs must submit satisfactory scores on the general aptitude portion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service. Official admission cannot be granted until official score reports are received.

TOEFL and IELTS. (Click here to see requirements). All applicants for whom English is a second language or who were educated at schools where English was not the language of instruction in all disciplines must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)..  An official TOEFL score report must be received directly from Educational Testing Services at The University of Tulsa. Applicants who live in regions of the world where the TOEFL is not offered may submit official results from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). IELTS is jointly managed by: University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council, and IDP: IELTS Australia.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. Three letters of recommendation are required for admission. Please have the recommenders submit a recommendation on their official letterhead. Recommendations should be sent directly to the Graduate School.

CONFIRMATION OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES. International applicants must submit a Confirmation of Financial Resources form in the amount of $27,002, which is an estimate of the annual tuition, educational and living expenses for the 2008-2009 academic year (click here for a breakdown of the estimated tuition and living expenses). We will accept an original government or company letter of sponsorship in lieu of the Confirmation of Financial Resources. International student must be fully prepared to meet all normal living expenses and manage their finances throughout their stay.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FORM. Additional funds will be required for dependents accompanying students to the U.S. (click here for Dependent Information form). If dependents will be accompanying the applicant to the U.S., this form must be completed and submitted to the University of Tulsa.

APPLICATION FEE. Applicants are required to submit a nonrefundable $40 application fee, unless the applicant has graduated from The University of Tulsa or is a participant in the McNair Scholars Program. The application fee may be paid by check, or by credit card. You can pay your application fee using a credit card by calling the TU Business Office at (918) 631-2208, or 631-2600.
