to TU!
You have an exciting opportunity for learning while living in our residential facilities. The Office of Housing & Dining Services hopes you will grow and find meaning through friendships, exploration of ideas, and involvement in the residential community and the university as a whole. We promote the idea that residence facilities are more than just a place to eat and sleep. Residence living at TU is an experience in human relations. Our Residence Life program is designed to foster positive experiences in group living, decision making, self-discipline, and self-governance that will enhance your educational experience.
As you move into your new surroundings, we ask that you familiarize yourself with The Guide: to on-campus living, which summarizes the activities, services, and policies of the Office of Housing & Dining Services. Although it does not replace the Housing and Dining Application/License, The Guide explains how that application/license works. The Guide: to on-campus living also offers information that will help all residents participate responsibly in the group living experience at The University of Tulsa and attempts to answer some of the common questions residents might have. It is our expectation that every resident on campus is familiar with The Guide and the Universitys standards of community living.
The primary purpose of the Office of Housing & Dining Services is to serve you. Our office and Residence Life Staff are available to discuss any concerns, questions, or ideas. Please feel free to visit our offices located in Twin Towers, University Square Clubhouse and the Allen Chapman Activity Center.
The success of residence life at TU, however, depends on you. It is our hope that you will take an active role in determining that success. Commitment, consideration, and cooperation on the part of all residents are significant in making a group living experience enjoyable and rewarding. Enjoy your year in residence life at TU!
