Healthcare in the United States can be very costly.  All registered international students taking credit hours and research scholars taking no credit hours are required to purchase The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished by you.  It is ultimately the responsibility of the student to purchase and maintain health insurance that meets all university and State Department requirements.  The University of Tulsa's health insurance plan meets all university and State Department requirements.
