Housing

On-Campus Housing: Residence halls (dormitories) are available for those who wish to live on campus. TU requires Freshmen and Sophomores to live in university housing and participate in a dining program. Rooms are assigned on a "first come, first served" basis, with preference given to undergraduate students. To apply for on-campus housing, please complete a housing application and return it with the required deposit to the address noted at the top of the application. Upon receipt of the application, students receive written confirmation of their housing assignment which includes move-in details. You may contact the Housing Office to discuss rooms and meal plans by phoning 918-631-2514, or e-mail housing-dining@utulsa.edu.

NOTE: Housing contracts are binding for the full academic year (Fall & Spring Semesters). Cancellation of this contract must be made in writing to Housing & Dining Services, and there are substantial financial penalties for doing so. Please read the section pertaining to cancellations and refunds.

Residence halls will be closed over semester break. During this period students living in residence halls will need to find other accommodations.

To make your planning and packing easier, below is a checklist made from upper-class students' suggestions. Rooms in the residence halls come equipped with a bed, mattress, mattress pad, desk, desk chair, dresser/closet, telephone (including answering service), and basic cable television hook-up. Please do not bring your telephone from home. It may disrupt the service in the building if plugged in. Refrigerators can be rented on campus when you arrive. We hope you find the checklist handy!
