Please come to our office (with your passport, one photo, and other immigration documents) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, so we may give you the information necessary to enroll in classes and become acquainted with our university. Consider bringing your national dress, musical instruments and/or artifacts with you to the U.S. You will have many opportunities to share them while you are here, including The University of Tulsa's International Week Celebration.

"When I first arrived on campus, the University of Tulsa staff was very helpful and friendly. Another international student helped me get acquainted with the computers available on campus."

See http://www.utulsa.edu/iss/studentguide/campusliving.html

PLEASE NOTE - Payment of tuition and fees is due at the beginning of each semester.

Therefore you should make arrangements to have enough U.S. dollars (in traveler's checks, not cash) available upon arrival to cover these fees as well as to cover moving-in expenses--taxi, hotel room, housing and utility deposits, food, etc. The university accepts wire transfers and credit card payments. Visit the following website for methods of payment: https://secureweb.utulsa.edu/boffice. Also, be sure you are thoroughly familiar with your government's regulations on transferring funds to the United States. If your program will last more than one year, make sure you have sufficient available funds to cover your entire period of study.

PLEASE NOTE - Students With Families

Students who bring dependents should expect to spend an additional $3,000 per year for a spouse and $1,500 per year for each dependant child.

Health insurance is required of all international students. If you have insurance which will cover you while studying in the USA, you must bring the company name and policy, written in English, with you as proof when you check in at the International Student Services Office.
