The Office of International Students provides assistance in the areas of undergraduate admission, immigration matters, and adjusting to life in the United States.

The Office of International Students provides the following services:

• Corresponds with sponsors and prospective students
• Issues immigration documents to newly admitted students
• Provides information about the University and surrounding community
• Arranges for arriving students to be met at the airport upon request
• Meets with new students to ease adjustment and offers individual assistance as necessary
• Processes undergraduate admissions

International students are encouraged to take advantage of the many academic support services available on campus. The advisor in the Office of International Student Services helps students by:

• Aiding in cultural and academic adjustment
• Providing emergency assistance
• Administering health and accident insurance programs
• Providing information on local health services
• Counseling students as necessary
• Advising and assisting with documentation for all immigration matters while studying in the United States
