Tulsa Law Review is proud to celebrate its 44th year of publication during the 2008-2009 academic year.  First known as Tulsa Law Journal (1964-2001), TLR dedicates itself to publishing "outstanding scholarly works covering the full spectrum of the law that stimulate critical thinking, provoke legal debate, and guide the law in a direction that better serves our society."  (TLR preamble).

Selected students of the University of Tulsa College of Law publish four issues of Tulsa Law Review yearly.  During the 2008-2009 publication year, TLR will publish an Environmental Sustainability Symposium, a Native American Law Symposium, a Supreme Court Review Symposium, and a Legal Scholarship Symposium dedicated to Richard A. Epstein.  The current Editorial Board is committed to upholding TLR’s tradition of excellence and pursuing the mission of legal scholarship.
