General Physical Description note
There is evidence that the postcards may have at some time been affixed in a scrapbook, as little squares of adhesive paper are still present in the upper left and right corners of each card. The postcards are in good condition, with minor obscuring and loss of text due to the adhesive squares. Many of the postcards are stamped with the censor's stamp and signed by whatever officer cleared them for mailing. In the upper right-hand corner of nearly every card addressed, Rowe has written, "Soldiers mail".
