Very brief daily entries (almost all are hand printed, a few are written in cursive) regarding general activites such as time of arising each morning, work, social activies including movies seen and letters written.

Includes b/w studio portrait of two young women; b/w snapshot of a soldier in uniform seated on a park bench; exterior view of a large home, with an "x" marking a set of windows of the home; snapshot of a sailor in uniform and cap, posing outside near a residence.

2nd Private, Infantry, US Army. 229th Co. M. PC.

Entered US Army, May 25, 1918 to Camp Wadsworth. Left Camp Stuart for overseas June 30th. Reached [B---] July 13th, St. Nazaire, France.
