About Dr. Norden

Dr. Jeanette Norden is Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology and
Director of Medical Education at Vanderbilt University.

She is nationally recognized for her "innovative approach integrating 'humanity' into basic science courses," and featured in Ken Bain's fifteen year study of What the Best College Teachers Do, to engage and challenge their students. Her accomplished insights about, and passionate dedication to, the art of teaching seem a fitting way to introduce TU's Henneke Center for Academic Fulfillment.
