Important Dates for Spring 2012

  • January 9: Classes Begin
  • January 16: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - No classes
  • January 20: Last day to add a class
  • January 27: Last day to drop a class without academic penalty
  • January 27: Last day to declare audit
  • January 27: Last day to declare pass-fail in Collegiate Advising Office
  • March 19: Summer Schedule of Courses posted to web
  • March 19-23: Spring Break
  • March 26: Classes Resume
  • March 26: Fall Schedule of Courses posted to web
  • March 30: No withdrawals permitted after this date
  • April 2-6: Registration for Summer term begins
  • April 9-20: Registration for Fall term begins
  • April 23: Last day of classes
  • April 24-25: Reading Days (NO classes, quizzes or tests)
  • April 26-27, 30 May 1-3: Final Examinations
  • May 5: Commencement
  • May 8: Spring 2012 grades due at 12 noon

Senior 90+ hours completed
Junior 60-89 hours completed
Sophomore 30-59 hours completed
First Year (Freshmen) 0-29 hours completed

Important: Students enrolling in their final semester should make application for a degree in the appropriate Dean's Office.

NOTE: All undergraduates may register, although the system will block students who have excessive unpaid balances (those individuals will have to go to the Business Office to attend to their balances).
