November 18 - Night Light at TU
Students in grades P2 and up are invited to participate by singing with a group of USchool students at this annual TU event. Mrs. Call will provide more information to students in their music classes. All University School families are invited to join us at this fun holiday season kick-off event on the university's Chapman Commons at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18. There will be hot chocolate, music, and lights! Watch for a flyer with more information.

November 25 - All-School Thanksgiving Celebration
University School's annual Thanksgiving celebration will be held at school on Tuesday, November 25. Potluck lunches will be held in commons areas and classrooms, and parents are asked to bring a dish to share. Details about your child's classroom plans will be emailed by the classroom representatives or teachers. Setup begins at 11:00 a.m., and lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. School will be dismissed on this day at 1:00 p.m., and there is no afternoon extended day on November 25.

November 26-28 - Thanksgiving Break - No School

October 20 - Fall Break - No School

December 16 - Winter Concert - 10:30 a.m.
The annual University School Winter Concert will be held at the Lorton Performance Center at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. All USchool students will participate. School will be dismissed for the semester immediately following the concert. All students should be picked up from the performance center; students will not return to school after the concert. The concert usually lasts about one hour.
