Remodeling
The physical plant provides personnel and/or coordinates outside contractors for all construction, alteration, renovation, or remodeling projects in university facilities.
For these services, requesting departments must complete a Request for Service form (TU-595), route to appropriate persons for approval and send completed form to the attention of the director, physical plant.
These forms are available online or upon request from the physical plant administrative office, ext. 2245.
Estimates
The physical plant can provide estimates to requesting departments for projects that it can perform or coordinate with the resources of its staff. Ordinarily there is no charge for this estimating service.
However, estimating such projects can involve considerable time from physical plant personnel and outside contractors. Therefore, requesting departments should have secured funding and have prior approval of the project before seeking an estimate from the physical plant.
