Budget Revisions

Budget Revision (IPAS) Form 

When planning a project budget, the Principal Investigator should estimate budget items and categories to accommodate the work to be performed. However, when project activity necessitates deviating from the approved budget categories, a budget revision is required.

In some cases, written approval from the sponsor may be required before the budget can be revised. In most other cases, The University of Tulsa has authority to approve the requested revision. An IPAS form must be approved and submitted to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs prior to deviation from the original budget.
