All graduate stipends and hourly compensation of graduate students, regardless of source of funding, must be approved by the Graduate Dean. In addition, any hourly employment or employment outside of the University must be approved by the Graduate Dean.

Tuition scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, where appropriate.

Payroll and scholarship recommendations should be submitted by the discipline involved by completing a "Graduate Student Payroll Authorization" form.  This form must be submitted to the Graduate Dean for approval.

Payment to be disbursed as follows: 1/2-month payment August 31 for work performed August 15 through August 30; monthly payments September through April; 1/2-month payment May 15 for work performed May 1 through May 15.
