The University of Tulsa welcomes the interest of international businesses and academic institutions, their employees and their faculty in the educational programs and the research activities of the University, and is pleased to receive on-campus visitors. However, because of the multiplicity of commitments and the productivity of its faculty, the University finds it necessary to limit the length of those visits.

Normally, such a visit will be restricted to a maximum of two days. During that time, the visitors will have the opportunity to tour research facilities, laboratories, computer facilities, and libraries. They will have an opportunity to confer with faculty, students, and administrators, if they so desire. All such visits must be cleared through the Office of the President. It is the purpose of this policy to extend the hospitality of the University without imposing an excessive burden on the University community.
