Statement from the Vice President

Al SoltowThe research and scholarship of university faculty is the foundation of knowledge, of economic progress and of the education of our society.

Whether that scholarship is in the arts, the humanities, business, law, engineering or the sciences, the research is critical to the quality of education that we deliver to our students at The University of Tulsa.

At TU, student participation in that research is essential and it is the obligation and goal of TU’s Board of Trustees, Administration, and Staff to provide the environment and the support necessary to ensure that our faculty and students maximize their potential and achieve their career goals. It is the achievements of our faculty, current students and graduates that maintain and enhance the reputation of The University of Tulsa as an institution of academic excellence.
