Mission Statement
As members of The University of Tulsa Department of Security we are committed to working together toward a common goal of providing a safe environment for the entire campus community. This goal will be accomplished by providing a professional, cooperative, customer driven service and is both flexible and responsive to the needs of all. This spirit of service and cooperation will also be extended to all outside law enforcement agencies, for without their assistance, our job would be a difficult one.
In addition to our university personnel, Campus Security hires off-duty Tulsa Police officers to assist on routine calls. On duty personnel are called if the situation warrants.
In accordance with The “Quality Service with a Plus” plan of action at the University and the “Vision of Excellence” the TU Deptment of Safety and Security is committed to giving members of our campus community the highest level of professionalism that can be expected of a law enforcement agency… and do it with a smile.
