Sharp Chaplain
Dr. Jeffrey C. Francis

Jeff Francis, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) joined the
University of Tulsa as Associate University Chaplain, Director of Church Relations in June of
1999 and was named Sharp Chaplains January 1, 2005.
A 1982 graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary (M.Div.) in Chicago, Jeff is
an alumnus of the University of Tulsa. He holds an undergraduate degree in Music Education
(B.Mus.Ed.'78) and graduate degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (M.A.'88,
Ph.D.'90). While at T.U., Jeff was a Varsity Cheerleader, a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity,
and a member of the Modern Choir.
Jeff has served several churches in Missouri, West Virginia, and Oklahoma. Most
recently, he was pastor at Bristow Presbyterian Church, Bristow, Oklahoma. He also taught as
adjunct faculty at Southern West Virginia Community College, Tulsa Community College and Phillips
Theological Seminary. He currently teaches in a adjunct.
Jeff is a Tulsa native. He and his wife Martha (B.Mus.Ed.'71) have two children,
Morgan and Megan.

Administrative Secretary
Mary McKee

Mary McKee has been employed with The University of Tulsa since 1987, and has
served as Administrative Secretary in The Office of the Chaplain since September of 1997. Mary
and her husband, Mac, have two daughters, Sara and Alison.
