Mission Statement
The Office of Student Affairs provides programs and services designed to promote academic success and global citizenship through co-curricular activities and student development programs.

Secondary School Teacher Prize for Inspiration
Who inspired you to push forward? Undergraduate students may nominate a high school teacher who inspired them to go beyond.
Nominations may be made by any undergraduate who expects to graduate in May, 2010. Nominations are due by 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2010 and should be sent to the Dean's office of the College in which the graduating senior is enrolled via email as follows:
Teachers selected will receive a $2000 award and their high schools will receive $1000. The teachers will be recognized during the May commencement ceremony. High school teachers through out the USA are eligible.
Students whose nominated teachers are selected will receive $500.

Greetings from The University of Tulsa! I want to welcome you to the programs and services offered by the Office of Student Affairs. The University of Tulsa is a truly extraordinary place and we are proud of the many programs and services we offer which are designed to foster more and better access to education for students from widely diverse backgrounds. Students have the opportunity to "step outside of their box" and explore a large number of leadership and community service opportunities through the programs and services offered by the dedicated professionals in Student Affairs.
The Office of Student Affairs oversees Counseling and Psychological Services, Center for Student Academic Support, Collins Fitness Center, Career Services, Multicultural Affairs, Greek Life, New Student Programs and Services, Student Association and Student Activities, and University and Community Engagement. Our goal in Student Affairs is to ensure that we deliver services to help students become engaged in their communities and succeed both in and outside of the classroom.

About Student Affairs
Student Affairs seeks to provide academic support through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Programs are designed to broaden students' educational experiences and develop their interpersonal and leadership skills. Specific programs, services, and activities include:

The Office of Student Affairs is also responsible for handling student conduct matters as well as complaints regarding sexual assault and harassment. Additionally, the Associate Vice President of Enrollment and Student Services/Dean of Students and the Associate Dean of Students serve as Ombudsmen to provide mediation of student complaints. The Associate Vice President/Dean of Students and the Associate Dean of Students are available for programs on alcohol awareness, sexual assault, harassment, leadership education, multicultural awareness, and Greek life.
Additionally, the Office of Student Affairs promotes community service by providing opportunities for students at The University of Tulsa to participate in Adopt-a-School, the College Access Program, and many other local organizations through University and Community Engagement. Students are encouraged to serve as mentors and tutors to middle school and senior high school students involved in after-school programs provided by TU.
