The Marcy Lawless Service Award
Endowed by the gift of Barry Munitz, the Marcy Lawless Service Award provides a cash award and a framed certificate to the graduating student who most closely emulates Marcy Lawless' generous spirit, creativity, vision, pursuit of excellence, and commitment to serving others both on campus and in the greater Tulsa community.
Eligibility:
This award recognizes the "graduating student who most closely emulates Marcy Lawless' generous spirit, creativity, vision, pursuit of excellence, and commitment to serving others both on campus and in the greater Tulsa community." Any student scheduled to graduate during the December 2009 or May 2010 commencement ceremonies (undergraduate, law, or graduate) is eligible. The award, which carries a cash stipend, will be presented during the December 19, 2009 commencement ceremony.
Nomination/Application forms may be obtained at any of the following locations: ACAC Administrative Office, Student Affairs Office in Holmes Student Center, Housing Office in Twin Towers, or the University and Community Engagement Office in Holmes Student Center.
Completed forms must be submitted by noon, Wednesday, October 9th, to the University and Community Service Office in Holmes Student Center, Room 59. Finalists will be interviewed by the selection committee.
