Graduation Preparation
Candidates for graduation must complete a Degree Application Card with their respective college in order to participate in commencement. Undergraduate students complete the application in their Advising Office, Graduate and Law students do so in their Dean's Office. Graduate Business students will receive their degree application card in the mail from the Graduate Business Programs office during their final semester.
If you are scheduled to graduate on December 19, 2009 you will want to be sure and attend Senior Salute on October 20th and 21st in the Great Hall of ACAC. Senior Salute is a two-day event allowing you an opportunity to tie up loose ends in one location.
- meet representatives from the Registrar's Office, the Financial Aid office, and the Business Office
- stop by the Alumni booth and learn how you can get involved after graduation and many others
- order announcements, rings, and diploma frames
- pick-up your cap and gown - at no cost
- smile for the camera, a photographer will be on hand to take your picture in your cap and gown
- enter the drawing for some cool gifts
Each booth will have entry forms available, pickup one at each booth you visit, fill them out, and put them in the box at the Student Affairs booth. The more you fill out, the better your chances of winning.
Cookies, coffee, and hot apple cider will be available while you're visiting the booths.
If you are unable to attend Senior Salute and wish to order personalized announcements, you may call Jostens direct at 1-800-353-5299 or on line at www.jostens.com to place your order.
