University & Community Engagement
A living faith inspires us to help others. Because of the importance of service, the University provides several programs under the direction of the Associate Dean of Students and Coordinator of University and Community Engagement.
The University of Tulsa strongly encourages service to others. Whether provided by faculty, students, or staff, the University encourages and supports efforts. Individuals or groups wishing to consider such projects are encouraged to visit the office in Holmes Student Center, Room 25 to explore ideas and discuss organizational procedures.
The University of Tulsa was awarded the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll in 2007-2008, 2008-2009, and 2009-2010. This distinction recognizes our students, faculty, staff, and alumni for helping build a culture of service and civic engagement.
