True Blue Neighbors

The University of Tulsa is launching True Blue Neighbors, a partnership with the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood to share TU’s resources and people to help improve the quality of life in one of Tulsa’s most economically challenged areas.

Watch the kickoff ceremony featuring TU Athletes providing blue and gold backpacks to all the students at Kendall-Whittier Elementary School.

Volunteer Opportunities

True Blue Neighbors program offers volunteer opportunities in a variety of locations. The University of Tulsa employees, with supervisor approval, may volunteer time during the workday to support this university endeavor. Human Resources has more information about how to take time off to volunteer as well as a Request for Leave form.
