TU Alumni Association Announces “Alumni Internship Program” The University of Tulsa Alumni Association is proud to announce a new partnership with the Career Services office at The University of Tulsa. The partnership will challenge TU’s alumni base to bring top internship opportunities to current University of Tulsa students. The partnership was fostered by The University of Tulsa Alumni Association, Career Services and the Collins College of Business.


“Our focus all along has been to build and develop an internship program that would allow our alumni to have access to current University of Tulsa students and allow students the best opportunities available in all markets, both local to Tulsa and worldwide,” said Matt Carr (BAC ’00), member of The University of Tulsa Alumni Association National Board of Directors. “In return, the businesses and organizations of our alumni will be able to interview and hire as interns the best and brightest students available.”

The program is still in its infancy and is now asking every alumnus or alumna of The University of Tulsa to introduce any internship opportunities to the Office of Alumni Relations. This is an effort to improve the overall opportunities and the quality of education being provided to all current TU students.

What is Golden OpporTUnities?

You will hear us talk about Golden OpporTUnities ("GO") a lot!  "GO" provides access to job listings specifically targeting University of Tulsa students and graduates. This service enables students and alumni to post resumes, search for a variety of jobs, apply for positions, and participate in on-campus interviews. Golden OpporTUnities will even let you RSVP for special career-related events, allow you to setup job-search agents, and practice your interview skills! "GO" online today!

Also check out the Going Global online database that contains more than 35,000 country-specific career and employment resources, corporate profiles for key employers in 31 countries, and over 100,000 international internship and job postings. For student and alumni access to Going Global, log into Golden OpporTUnities and go to the Additional Resources tab. Going Global is a resource made available to TU students and alumni by Career Services, Center for Global Education and International Business Programs.
